C&R Design Build is a premium design-build firm based in LaBelle, led by Richard Demarest. With 42 years in the industry and 22 years as a licensed local contractor, we bring a wealth of craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail to every project. We don't hand you off between designers and contractors — we are both, working as one dedicated team from first conversation to final walkthrough. We keep our client list small on purpose, because every homeowner who trusts us with their home deserves our full attention, not a slot on an assembly line.

Pre-Construction

We meet at your home to understand your vision, your lifestyle, and what's not working. We walk the space together, listen to your priorities, and give you an honest assessment of what's possible — including a realistic scope and preliminary budget range.
DESIGN & PLANNING
Our team develops a detailed plan around the way you actually live — not a template. Floor plans, material selections, and design renderings are all built with real cost data so you see exactly what you're getting and exactly what you're investing before anything starts.
BUDGET & TIMELINE LOCK
Your project investment is finalized and your construction schedule is set with clear milestone dates. The price is locked when you approve the design. We don't do ballpark figures, and we don't surprise you with change orders we should have seen coming.

Richard and your project manager are your direct points of contact throughout the build. Weekly photo updates, progress reports, and a phone that actually gets answered — you'll always know exactly where your project stands..

We walk through every inch together. Punch list items are documented and completed before we consider the project done. We don't call it finished until you're thrilled with the result..
WARRANTY & SUPPORT
Your relationship with C&R doesn't end at completion. We provide a care and maintenance guide for your new spaces and remain a phone call away for any questions or adjustments that come up after you're settled in.
LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
